Roses Valley & Dades Gorges day trip from Ouarzazate – itinerary:
After breakfast, you set out our your day trip as your driver picks you up at 08:30 from your riad. You follow the route of a thousand Kasbahs to Skoura Oasis. Here, you will stop to visit Kasbah Amridhil, which used to be featured in the old 50 dirham banknote.
The kasbah has been beautifully restored and is well worth visiting. It is constructed entirely of adobe, an excellent building material that keeps room temperature cool in the summer and warm in the winter due to the thickness of the walls. You will visit the Kasbah and explore its museum.
Then, you travel through the beautiful Valley of the Roses as far as Kel’aa M’gouna, where over 4000 tons of roses are harvested every spring from this desert oasis! Here, you can visit a local cooperative producing cosmetic articles from the valley’s abundant roses. These organic products are highly valued. The best month to see the roses is early May before the three-day Rose Festival.
Having arrived in the Dades Valley, you will have lunch in one of the kasbahs overlooking the valley. In the afternoon, you will have time to go for a walk in the valley, stroll by the fields and gardens and explore life in the oases.
We arrive back in Ouarzazate by the end of the afternoon. Your one-day trip ends as your driver transfers you to your riad.

Posted on Tripadvisor Extraordinary52321709/07/2026Verified Excellent guided tour An excellent guided tour, a great starting point to help you navigate the Medina. Yassine was very knowledgeable and shared lots about Marakesh. He took us into the Palace and the tombs and gave lots of information about the places and took great photos! He was helpful and good humoured. Highly recommend this tour to get you started in exploring Marakesh.Posted on Tripadvisor AmbroDT08/07/2026Verified Interesting, well-paced tour of Marrakech Convenient meeting point. Younness gave an interesting and entertaining tour. Good pace, relaxed approach and gave us a very enjoyable trip.Posted on Tripadvisor english_gent06907/07/2026Verified Informative but way too long We did the 4 hour tour in July, it started at 10am and already by the time it started it was 37c. We went to the palace first and by the time we left it was 44c. I could see other members of the tour really struggling with the heat but the tour guide still had us stood in direct sunlight for 10 minutes at a time while he explained things. As the tour drew to a close only half the starting party was left. We also went when my wife started to feel sick. Please keep this in mind if you plan to do this during the hottest times of the year.Posted on Tripadvisor antoine e02/07/2026Verified Superbe visites et guide au top Merci Mohammed pour cette visite très intéressante des différents coins de Marrakech !
